He passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at his residence on 23 Pine Rock Rd ~ Hyden, KY. at the age of 75 years, 1 month & 26 days. Tilford was a life-long residence of Leslie Co. Tilford Holland was Preceded in Death by his Parents; one Son: Clifton Holland; Mother of Children: Nella Mae Holland; one Brother: Harold Dean Bowling & one Sister: Dora Cheek. He leaves the following relatives surviving: 2 sons: Billy Holland & Zuba of Bear Branch, KY. & Keith Holland of Bear Branch, KY.; 1 Daughter: Vickie Smallwood of Bear Branch, KY.; 4 Brothers: Jim Holland & Annie of Bear Branch, KY., Tommy Holland & Jessie of Bear Branch, KY., John Henry Holland & Betty of London, KY. & Will Holland, Jr. of Bear Branch, KY.; 5 Sisters: Bessie Jones of Hyden, KY., Martha Burns of London, KY., Ida Gibson & Jr. of London, KY., Mallie Osborne & Noah of London, KY. & Sophia Collins & Seldon of London, KY.; 6 Grandchildren: Makesha Woods, Douglas Holland, Jordan Holland, Kayla Holland, Kyle Holland & Austin Holland & 7 Great-Grandhcildren. Also a host of Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives & Friends survive. Funeral service will be on Sunday ~ October 2, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hals Fork Pentecostal Church at Bear Branch, KY. with Rev. Jerry Holland, Rev. Randy Woods & Rev. Teddy Couch officiating. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Scott Pennington, Randy Holland, Donnie Holland & Ronnie Sizemore. Burial will follow in the Henry Collins Family Cemetery at Bear Branch, KY. Visitation will begin on Friday ~ September 30, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral at the Church.
