The obituary of Opha Wilson Officiating Minister: Rev. Phillip Bell Opha Wilson born December 26, 1912 departed this life on August 7, 2009 at the age of 96 years. She was born at Helton, Kentucky the daughter of the late John L. Wilson and the late Minerva Hoskins Wilson. Opha enjoyed traveling & reminiscing with her sister, Lillian. She had been a life-long resident of Helton,Leslie County, Kentucky. She was a member of the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; John & Minerva Wilson; four brothers: Shelby Wilson, Oscar Wilson, Hobert Wilson and Carl Wilson; one sister: Rose Nantz. Opha leaves surviving one sister: Lillian Wilson of Helton, KY and a host of nieces, nephews and other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Opha Wilson will be at 2 p.m. Monday - August 10, 2009 at the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY with Rev. Phillip Bell officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery at Helton, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
