Denver had been a resident of Flint, Michigan since 1965, prior to living in Leslie Co., by occupation he was a retired employee from General Motors. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Denver was a member of the UAW, local 598.His hobbies included fishing, gardening & lawn work. Denver "Manuel" Howard was preceded in death by: his parents: Chester & Flora Howard, 1 brother: Dennis Howard & 1 sister: Gladys Leddington. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His Wife: Wilhelmine Colwell Howard of Flint, Michigan, 2 Daughters: Donna Sher & Husband, Gulab of Tampa, Florida & Christy Howard of Tampa, Florida, 1 Sister: Anna Mae Howard Morgan of Hyden, Ky. & 1 Grandchild: Shiraz Sher of Tampa, Florida. Funeral Service for Denver Howard was conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky.on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Gap Church of God, Stinnett, Ky., with Rev. Chad Hensley officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at 5:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Mosley Cemetery at Mozelle, Ky.
