The obituary of Mrs. Emma Campbell Officiating Minister: Clarence Howard Mrs. Emma Campbell was born on May 13,1923 and passed away on July 22, 2012 at the Hazard ARH Hospital at the age of 89 years. She was born in Leslie County,KY. She was the Daughter of the late Henry Asher and the late Ida Bailey Asher. By occupation she was a retired cook, having worked for the Perry County School Board. Emma was a life-long resident of Perry County, Kentucky and had been affiliated with the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed cooking, and watching the Cincinnati Reds play baseball. Emma was Preceded in Death by her Parents: Henry & Ida; Husband: Don Campbell; Brothers: Roy, Carl Eugene and Charles; Sisters: Edna, Mary, Geneva and Infants. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one Son: Don Barton Campbell of Lexington, KY.; three Daughters: Carol Couch of Hazard, KY, Ann Williams & Ralph of Georgetown, KY. and Missy Campbell Longworth & Greg of Hazard, KY.; one Brother: Robert Asher & Ruth of Wooton, KY.; one Sister: Rebecca Melton of Wooton, KY.; nine Grandchildren: Shaine Baker, Landon Longworth, Sabrina Longworth, Sheila Flynn & Ricky, Regina Watts, Curtis Williams, Taylor Campbell, Tyler Campbell and Shaun Baker. Also survived by a host of great grandchildren and other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Campbell will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday - July 25, 2012 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Clarence Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell Family Cemetery located at Hazard, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Ricky Flynn, Greg Longworth, Shaine Baker, Charlie Baker, Tyler Campbell, Ricky Flynn, Jr. and Bart Campbell. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 P.M.
