The obituary of Mr. Ricky Muncy Officiating Minister Pastor Sam Baer Mr. Ricky Muncy born January 6, 1966 departed this life on March 15, 2008 at the age of 42 years, 2 months and 9 days old. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late Beve Muncy and the late Golda Lumpkins Muncy. By occupation he was a maintenance worker and was employed by Begley Lumber Company. Ricky was affiliated with the Baptist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. He enjoyed four wheeler riding and spending time with his children. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents: Beve & Golda Muncy, he leaves surviving the following relatives: Wife: Brenda Begley Muncy of Dryhill, KY. Son: Ricky Montel Muncy of Dryhill, KY. Daughter: Destini Rekale Muncy of Dryhill, KY. Father-In-Law & Mother-In-Law Alvin & Mary Begley of Dryhill, KY. Three Brothers Levi Muncy & Effie of Bear Branch, KY. Dwight Muncy & Gail of Confluence, KY. Johnny Muncy & Melissa of Confluence, KY. Two Sisters: Alice Muncy & Truman Chappell of Stinnett, KY. Beverly Lewis & Ricky of Smilax, KY. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, 2 great nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Muncy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday - March 19, 2008 at the Anna C. Brush United Presbyterian Church at Dryhill, Kentucky with Pastor Sam Baer officiating. Burial will follow in the Muncy Family Cemetery at Confluence, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker funeral home staff. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday -March 18, 2008 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Levi Muncy, Dwight Muncy, Johnny Muncy, Evan Lewis, Jimmy Harold Muncy, Nicholas Begley and Richard Muncy.
