The obituary of Mrs. Edith Brock Nantz Officiating Ministers: Rev. Reed Brock and Rev. Denver Brock Mrs. Edith Brock Nantz was born on October 9, 1943 and departed this life on March 25, 2011 at the Claiborne County Hospital, Tazewell, Tennessee. She was 67 years old. Edith was born at Asher, Kentucky the daughter of the late Allen Brock and the late Mary Muncy Brock. She was a homemaker and had been a life- long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Harrogate, Tennessee for the past 7 years. Mrs. Edith Nantz was a member of the Pump Springs Baptist Church in Harrogate, TN. She was a avid volunteer of the Manna House Pantry which provided food and clothing to the needy. Edith was a loving mother & grandmother whose greatest joy was being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Scott Nantz; one grandchild: Ashton Parker Bray and by one brother-in-law: Sterling Caldwell. Mrs. Edith Brock Nantz leaves surviving the following relatives: 5 daughters: Deborah Creech of Harrogate, TN, Vicky Simpson & Corbett of Hoskinston, KY, Judy Mosley & Terry of Asher, KY, Mary Caldwell & Leon of Harrogate, TN, and Kimberly Nantz of Harrogate, TN.; 3 brothers: Grant Brock & Rose of London, KY, Eugene Brock & Regina of Helton, Ky and Rocky Brock & Tina of Cumberland Gap, TN; 1 sister: Edna Sue Caldwell of Helton , KY; 14 grandchildren: Tracy, Rebecca, Denise, Debra, Melinda, Byron, Andrea, James, Dylan, Spencer, Kelly, Amber, Jenna and Nicholas. Also survived by a special niece: Jennifer Brock; 13 great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. The funeral service for Mrs. Edith Brock Nantz will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday - March 28, 2011 at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY with Rev. Reed Brock and Rev. Denver Brock officiating. The interment will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery at Helton, KY. Friends may call for visitation at 6:00 p.m. Sunday -March 27, 2011 at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: Cody Bray, Tyler Bray, Parker Epperson, Billy Mac Napier, Jerry Phillips, Ronnie Caldwell, Albert Phillips, Nick Bray, Austin Fee & Tony Brock.
