The obituary of Mrs. Wanda Sue Smith Officiating Minister: Rev. Reed Brock Mrs. Wanda Sue Smith born March 11, 1947 departed this life on February 2, 2010 at the age of 62 years. She was born at Harlan, Kentucky the daughter of the late R.L. Wilson and the late Lillie Napier Wilson. By occupation she was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky Mrs. Wanda Sue Smith was affiliated with the Upper Beechfork United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and raising flowers. She leaves surviving the following relatives; her loving and devoted husband: Ernest Wayne Smith of Helton, KY; son: Richard Thompson and Lori of Georgetown, KY; daughter: Glynis Mechelle Thompson of Helton, KY; four brothers: Harold Napier of Harlan, KY, Herbert Napier, Rick Napier and Glen Napier all of Helton, KY; five sisters: Phyllis Collett of London, KY, Pat Napier of Somerset, KY, Chloe Hunt of Helton, KY, Carolyn Howard of Helton, Ky and Marilyn Mills of Hyden, Ky, three grandchildren: William Gross, Cameron Roark and Samantha Thompson, Father and Mother-In-Law: Riley and Carolyn Smith of Helton, Ky. Wanda Sue is also survived by a host of other treasured family and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Sue Smith will be at 1:00 p.m.- Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Reed Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery located at Bledsoe, KY. Friends may call for visitation beginning at 12:00 noon, Friday- February 5, 2010 at the funeral home chapel.
