The obituary of Mr. Edwin "Muck" Morgan Officiating Minister: Rev. Teddy Couch Mr. Edwin "Muck" Morgan born April 6, 1947 departed this life on January 7, 2009 at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 1 day old. He was born at Hyden, Kentucky the son of late Caleb Morgan and the late Laura Howard Morgan. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and had worked for Blue Diamond Coal Co. Muck enjoyed the hobbies of fishing, four wheeler riding and coon hunting. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Muck was preceded in death by his parents: Caleb and Laura Morgan; two brothers: Covey Morgan and Kent Morgan. He leaves surviving the following relatives: two daughters: Deanna Morgan Couch of Hyden, KY, Rebecca Michelle Morgan of Whiteburg, KY; three sons: James Douglas Morgan & wife Brenda of Mt. Vernon, KY, Edwin Douglas Morgan of Hyden, KY, Dewayne Douglas Morgan of Hyden, KY; seven sisters: Ruby Cornett & Roger of Monticello, KY, Helen Bailey & Eugene of Monticello, KY, Effie Csaszar & John of Monticello, KY, Shirley Hubbard & Paul of Miamisburg, OH, Marie Osborne & Owen of Monticello, KY, Edna Sue Morgan of Hyden, KY, Christine Morgan of Hyden, KY; two brothers: Hobert Morgan & Dora Jean of Monticello, KY, Johnny Richard Morgan & Donna of Hyden, KY; six grandchildren: Thomas Chase Hoskins of Hyden, KY, William Caleb Bryton Couch of Hyden, KY, Ramsey Mae Day, Ryder Gavin Day both of Whitesburg, KY, Raymond Douglas Morgan and Tyler Cordell Morgan. Mr. Edwin "Muck" Morgan is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Edwin Morgan will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday- January 10, 2009 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel at Hyden, KY with Rev. Teddy Couch officiating. Burial will follow in the Morgan-Begley Cemetery at Hyden, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff. The following will serve as pallbearers: Donnie Wayne Osborne, Russell Baker, Kenny Morgan, Ricky Cornett, Roger Dale Cornett, Larry Bailey, Michael Bailey and Johnny Cornett.
