Ryan Osborne Mr. Gillis Gibson was born on April 15, 1930 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late Bill & Flora Sizemore Gibson. He passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the St. Joseph of London Hospital in London, KY. at the age of 81 years, 1 month & 4 days. Gillis had been a resident of Clay Co. for the past 28 years coming from Ohio. By occupation he was a retired factory worker at Micro-Melt in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of the Couch's Fork Church of God at Bear Branch, KY. Gillis enjoyed auto restoration & auto repari as a hobby. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother: Rufus; 2 Sisters: Edna Napier & Nellie Osborne. Mr. Gillis Gibson leaves the following relatives surviving: His Loving & Devoted Wife: Dorothy Caldwell Gibson of Manchester, Ky.; 3 Sons: Jeff Gibson & Donna of Lily, Ky., J.C. Gibson of Big Creek, Ky. & Corbett Caldwell & Linda of Big Creek, KY.; 1 Daughter: Michelle Gibson Collins & Dexter of Big Creek, KY.; 4 Brothers: Carlo Gibson of Hyden, KY., Otis Gibson & Mallie of Hyden, Ky., Kelly Gibson & Delores of Florida & Brack Gibson & Marcia of Cincinnati, Ohio; 7 treasured Grandchildren & 9 treasured Great-Grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Mr. Gillis Gibson will be conducted at 1:00 P.M -Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the Couch's Fork Church of God at Bear Branch, Ky. with Rev. Kevin Napier, Rev. J.D. Hensley & Rev. Ryan Osborne officiating. The interment will follow in the Polly Marcum Cemetery at Big Creek, Ky. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Ernest Lawson, Jonathon Taylor, Scott Collins, Scott Woods, Jason Gibson & Nash Mosley.
