James passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at the Baptist Health at Corbin, KY., at the age of 68 years, 3 months & 19 days. James had been a resident of Corbin, KY. for the past 25 years, formerly living in Leslie Co., KY. James was a former technician (working on heating & air conditioning). He was a member of the Holiness Church. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, attending yard & garage sales & carpentry. James Harold Woods was preceded in death by: parents: Hiram & Mae Keen Woods & a daughter: Virginia Mae Woods He leaves the following relatives surviving: a son: Joe Tiernan & Nina of Corbin, KY., a daughter: Charlotte Kathleen Biggs & David of Texas, a brother: Cash Woods & Kay of Ohio, sisters: Katherine Jester & Terry of Ohio, Patty Osborne & Hiram of Thousandsticks, KY., Nancy Morgan of Hyden Ky., Linda Wilson of Hyden, KY., Ophia Morgan & Bobby of Indiana, Betty Hensley of Hazard KY. & Sandra K. Washburn of Thousandsticks, KY., 4 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren & special care-giver: Misty Jester. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. FUNERAL SERVICE: 12:00 Noon-Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY.
