The Obituary of Mrs. Barbara Rose Ethel Wheatley Farmer Officiating Minister: Keith Bowling Mrs. Barbara Farmer was born on May 9, 1931 in Stroud Gloucestershire, England and passed away at her residence in Stinnett, KY. on December 11, 2012. She was 81 years of age at the time of her passing. Barbara was the Daughter of the late Dennis Eugene Wheatley and the late Elizabeth Pearson Wheatley. By occupation she was a Homemaker. Barbara became a US Citizen in 1969 in Laredo, TX. and has been a resident of Leslie County since 1970. She was a Member of Stinnett Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and traveling as hobbies. Barbara was Preceded in Death by her: Parents: Dennis & Elizabeth Wheatley; Husband: Clen Farmer; Son: Terry Lee Farmer; Brother: Anthony Wheatley; Closest Friend & Sister-In-Law: Alma Farmer. Barbara leaves the following relatives surviving: Sons: Roger Dale Farmer & Nancy of Columbiana, OH. and Randy Clen Farmer & Adrienne of the Philippines; Daughters: Jo Anne Morris & Jason of Stinnett, KY. and Kathy Denise Farmer of Berea, KY.; Very Dear Friend Whom She Considered a Daughter: Betsy MacMillan; Sisters: Pamela Shirley Cooper & Barney of Cooper, England, Hillary Coles & Bill of England, Gillian Whiting of England, Marianne Wheatley of Oregon; Grandchildren: Lisa Fullerton & Matt, Amy Gladman & Rubin and Barbara Deserie Farmer; Great Grandchildren: Mya Fullerton and Lily Fullerton. Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Rose Ethel Wheatley Farmer will be conducted on Saturday ~ Dec. 15, 2012 at Stinnett Church of Christ at 11:00 A.M. with Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in the Round Hole Cemetery ~ Greasy Creek ~ Stinnett, KY. Pallbearers include: Rubin Gladman, Matt Fullerton, Glen Farmer, Darrin Farmer, Joey Begley and Rick Roberts. Visitation will be on Friday ~ Dec. 14, 2012 beginning at 6:00 P.M. at the Church. You may send your condolences to the Farmer Family @ www.walkerfuneralhomesllc.com.
