Steve Wainright Mr. Eric John Newbury born on December 16, 1975 departed this life on April 9, 2008 at the age of 32 years, 3 months and 24 days old. He was born at Niagara Falls, New York the son of Barbara Jean Turner and John Charles Newbury. By occupation Eric was employed by Dell as an Application Service Engineer. Eric had been living at 2148 Larkspur Dr. Lexington, Kentucky having moved there from Russell Springs, Kentucky in 1991 and had been working in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, at the time of his death. Eric enjoyed computers as a hobby as well as a career. He was affiliated with the New Life Baptist Church and the Quest Community Church both of Lexington, Kentucky. Eric was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother: Corinne Turner, he leaves surviving the following relatives: Father and Step-Mother: John Charles Newbury & Jan of Belmont, NY Mother & Step-Father: Barbara Jean Turner Johnson & Paul of Lexington, KY Maternal Frandfather: Raleigh Turner of Russell, Springs, KY. Paternal GrandMother: Shirley Newbury of New York Three Aunts: Janice Turner of Hawaii Sue Newbury of New York Joann Newbury of New York Four Uncles: Robert Turner & Bonnie of Elizabethtown, KY John Turner of Frankfort, KY. Glenn Newbury of New York Jeffery Newbury of New York One Sister: Sara Newbury of Lexington, KY Also survived by a host of treasured cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Eric John Newbury will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Hyden, Kentucky with Rev. Steve Wainwright officiating. Burial will be held at the Turner Family Cemetery at Hyden, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
