The Obituary of Rev. Philip A. Bell Officiating Ministers: Rev. Steve Springer & Rev. Karen Dial Rev. Philip A. Bell was born on February 18, 1942 and departed this life on April 12, 2011 at the age of 69 years. He was born at Palmerton, Pennsylvania the son of the late Rev. Richard Dudley Bell and the late Ruth Elizabeth Reese Bell. Rev. Philip Bell was an ordained Methodist Minister and was currently serving as the minister of the Beech Fork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. Rev. Philip A. Bell served honorably in the United States Air Force & was Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was fluent in several different languages and served as a linguist in the U.S. Air Force. Rev. Bell served in ministry for 25 years, he pastored three churches in Texas, three churches in Ohio,and also was affiliated with the Red Bird Mission for the past three years. He was an avid reader, and was very musically gifted in playing piano, guitar, trombone, trumpet, dulcimer and french horn. Rev. Philip Bell was preceded in death by his parents & one infant son: Richard Arthur Bell. Rev. Philip A. Bell leaves the following relatives surviving: His Loving and Devoted Wife: Patricia Anne Messer Bell of Helton, Ky.; Son: Brian Bell of Texas; Daughters: Jennifer Ludeke of Hondo, Texas, Meagan Bell of Helton, Ky. & Triplets Courtney Navaro of Hondo, Texas, Jordan Bell, of Hondo, Texas, Jonathon Bell of Hondo, Texas; Brothers: Steven Bell of Ohio and Charles Bell of Virginia; Sister: Lois Elaine Mayhew of Martha's Vineyard, Mass.; 6 Grandchildren & host of other treasured relatives and friends. A memorial service for Rev. Philip A. Bell will be held on Sunday - May 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Beech Fork United Methodist Church, Helton, Ky., with Rev. Steve Springer and Rev.
