Samuel was born in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late, Wilber Carl Conrad, Sr. & Blanch McVey Conrad. He had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 10 years, prior to living in Ohio. By occupation Samuel was a former truck driver. He enjoyed motorcyle riding, camping & boating. Samuel Conrad, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents & 1 daughter: Theresa Conrad He leaves the following relatives surviving: His special companion for 20 years, Brenda Owens of Hyden, Ky., 4 sons: Samuel Conrad, Jr. of Oxford, Ohio, Dylan Conrad of Hyden, Ky., Daniel Conrad of Hyden, KY. & Scott Owens of New Miami, Ohio, 2 brothers: Wilber Carl Conrad, Jr. & Edna of Bearbranch, KY. & Richard Conrad of Mason Ohio, 2 sisters: Robin Garhart of South Carolina & Stella Scarrett & Denny of Mason, Ohio & 4 grandchildren: Sean Conrad, Bailey Conrad, Marrissa Owens & Eli Owens. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service for Samuel Conrad, Sr. will be conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Thursday, July 9, 2009 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Couchs Fork Church of God at Bearbranch, KY., with Rev.
