The Obituary of Mr. James Clifton "Cliff" Osborne Officiating Ministers: Rev. Teddy Couch & Rev. Henry Clay Robertson Mr. James Clifton "Cliff" Osborne was born on March 6, 1949 in Thousandsticks, KY. and passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. He was residing in Hyden, KY. and was 63 years of age at the time of his passing. Cliff was the Son of the late Dee Osborne and the late Julie Salyers and was the Husband of Sylvia Johnson Osborne. Cliff was formerly employed by Teco Coal working in the coal mines for 42 years. He was a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Parkway Holiness Church in Thousandsticks, KY. Cliff enjoyed horses, camping and boating as hobbies. He was Preceded in Death by his: Parents: Dee & Julie Salyers Osborne; Brothers: Buster, Otis, Will & JL; Sister: Fannie. Cliff leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Sylvia Johnson Osborne of Hyden, KY.; Son: J.D. Osborne & Shasta of Hyden, KY.; Daughter: Pamela Hoskins & Steve of Hyden, KY.; Step Daughters: Angie Feltner of Confluence, KY. and Jennifer Collett & Justin of Confluence, KY.; Brothers: Hiram Osborne & Pat of Thousandsticks, KY. and Bobby Joe Osborne & Bonnie of Thousandsticks, KY.; Sister: Mollie Jane Gay of Thousandsticks, KY.; Grandchildren: Carter Osborne, Hannah Hoskins, James Hoskins and Charles Hoskins; Step Grandchildren: James Morgan and Cooper Collett. Funeral services for Mr. James Clifton "Cliff" Osborne will be conducted on Thursday ~ Jan. 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home ~ Hyden, KY. with Rev. Teddy Couch and Rev. Henry Clay Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in the Gillie Osborne Cemetery in Thousandsticks, KY. The following will serve as Pallbearers: Jerry Osborne, Brian Osborne, Leon Burns, Steven Ray Caldwell, Jimmy Dean Feltner and Justin Collett. The following will serve as Honorary Pallbearers: Paul Osborne, Hiram Osborne and Bobby J. Osborne. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00-9:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home.
