Clifton Adams Rose Marie Melton was born on December 23, 1964 at Hyden, KY., the daughter of Larry Melton & the late Jerlene Collins Melton. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, KY. at the age of 45 years 11 months & 29 days of age at the time of her passing. Rose had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co.,by occupation she had formerly worked at Wal-Mart as a cashier. She was an avid Nascar Fan for Tony Stewart, she also enjoyed watching ballgames, playing bingo & keeping up with the current events. Rose Marie Melton was preceded in death by her Mother: Jerlene Collins Melton & one sister: Angela Napier She leaves the following relatives surviving: Father: Larry Melton of Wooton, Ky.,Maternal Grandmother: Essie Collins of Hyden, Ky., 3 brothers: Wade (Melvinia)Melton of Chavies, Ky., Michael Melton of Wooton, Ky. & Christopher Melton of Wooton, KY., 3 sisters: Sherry Griffie (Thomas) of Letcher Co., Ky., Jessica Napier of Wooton, KY., & Wanda Melton of Virginia & 3 nieces: Amanda Napier, Nicole Griffie & Kristen Griffie; also a host of other relatives & friends survive. Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the McIntosh Church of God at Wooton, KY. with Rev. Clifton Adams officiating.
