He passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY., at the age 66 years, 9 months & 16 days. He was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by occupation he was a retired surface mine foreman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, canning, cooking & spending time with his children & grandchildren. Harlan was preceded in death by: Parents: Boyd & Chloe Stidham Couch, one Son: Harlan Couch, Jr. & two Sisters: Ima Jean Baker & Verna Messer. Harlan Couch leaves the following relatives surviving: Wife: Wilma McDaniels Couch of Wooton, KY., two Sons: Bill Couch & Villa of Yeaddiss, KY. & Rodney Couch & Vanessa of Hyden, KY., three Daughters: Nancy Baker & Terry of Franklin, Ohio, Jackie Couch of Cookville, Tenn. & Donna Kaye Farler of Yeaddiss, KY., two Brothers: Russell Couch of Leatherwood, KY. & MIckey Couch & Missy of Mason Creek, KY., two Sisters: Freda Johnson & Bill of New York & Helen Ely of Virgina, 14 Grandchildren & 10 Great-Grandcildren.
