The obituary of Mr. Henry Wayne Nantz Officiating Ministers: Rev. Ralph Brown, Rev. Roscoe Asher and Rev. Denver Brock Mr. Henry Wayne Nantz born October 7, 1965 departed this life on November 15, 2009 at the age of 44 years. He was born at Harlan, Kentucky, the son of Jean Simpson and the late Vic Nantz. By occupation he was a heavy equipment machine operator and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Henry was affiliated with the New Hope Church at Warbranch, Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Mr. Henry Wayne Nantz was preceded in death by his Father: Vic Nantz; Paternal Grandparents: Peter and Mae Nantz; Maternal Grandparents: Walter and Cinda Simpson. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Mother and Step-Father Jean Simpson Smith and Levi Smith, Jr., three sons: Daniel Dewayne Nantz & Robin of Essie, KY, Christopher Shawn Nantz & Lula Nicole of Jenkins, KY, Donavon Dewayne Nantz of Essie, KY, one daughter: Nancy "Cricket" Sandlin Pennington of Hell for Certain, KY, two brothers: Michael Nantz & Bridgette of Warbranch, KY, Vic Nantz, Jr. & Patricia of Warbranch, KY, three sisters: Vicky Simpson & Corbett of Warbranch, KY., Deborah Creech & Ted of Harrogate, TN., Sandy Nantz & Lige Williams of Wooton, KY., two grandchildren Haley Nantz and Noah Nantz. Henry is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Henry Wayne Nantz will be at 12 Noon Thursday - November 19, 2009 at the New Hope Church located at Warbranch, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Billy Mack Napier, Daniel Nantz, Daniel Nantz II, Benny Nantz, Michael Nantz, Shannon Banks & Donovan Nantz. Friends may call after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday- November 18, 2009 at the church for visitation. Interment will be at the Nantz Family Cemetery located at Warbranch, KY under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home staff.
