Marvin Amos (Obituary) Gary Allen Wilson was born on February 8, 1951 at Big Laurel, KY., the son of the late Gorman Wilson & Sudie Nantz Wilson. He passed away at his residence, 610 Sams Branch Rd.,Asher, KY., on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the age of 62 years, 4 months & 23 days. Gary was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., By occupation He was a former truck driver & was employed by LKLP as a Home-Improvement Co-ordinator. He was a member of the Middlefork United Methodist Church at Helton, KY. He also was a member of the Beech Fork Senior Citizens. He enjoyed fishing, U.K. basketball & family geneology. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Gorman & Sudie Nantz Wilson, infant sibling, Brenda Wilson & other siblings, Gorman Wilson, Jr., Eva Mae Pittman, Elaine Napier, Geraldine Wilson & Husband, Elza. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his beloved wife, Wanda Wilson of Asher, Ky., one son, Kevin Wilson & Jennifer of Corbin, KY., three daughters, Sonya Coile & Joe Webb of Tennessee, Jovene Wilson & Bill of Harlan, KY. & Gwendolyn Wilson & Merle of Asher, KY., one brother, Terry Wilson of Somerset, Ky., 10 grandchildren, Jonathan Hubbard, Jennifer Maggard, Jowana Lewis, Kayla Helton, Jared Wilson, Kara Wilson, Jayden Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Kelsea Wilson & Peyton Wilson, 8 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Earl Napier & a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Upper Beech Fork United Methodist at Helton, KY. with Rev. Teddy Brock, Rev. Steve Wilson, Rev. Reed Brock & Rev. Marvin Amos reading the obituary. Interment will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery at Helton, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers, Joe Webb, Jonathan Hubbard, Jared Wilson, Merle Wilson, Earl Wilson, Howard Wilson, Zandall Wilson, Herman Wilson, Donnie Wilson, James Fee and Ernest Maggard.
