Mr. Adron Whitehead born October 03, 1925 departed this life on Sunday, January 31, 2021, in Brooksville, Ky. Adron was 95 years old. Adron was born at Chappell, Ky., the son of the late John Whitehead and Amy Catherine Turner. Adron was a veteran of World War II, having served honorably in the U.S. Army. Adron was a retired mechanic for U.P.S. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, quilting with his wife Sarah, and his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Adron was preceded in death by his parents and his loving and devoted wife; Sarah Simpson Whitehead. Mr. Adron Whitehead leaves the following relatives surviving; six beloved sons; Tommy Whitehead and wife, Sam, of Independence, Ky., Richard Whitehead and wife, Lucy of Lubbock, Texas, Darrell Whitehead of Covington, Ky., Jack Whitehead of Brooksville, Ky., Denver Whitehead and wife, Tina of Covington, Ky. & Carson Whitehead and wife, Linda Mills Whitehead of Brooksville, Ky., one beloved daughter; Carolyn Stortz and husband, George of Melbourne, Ky., one brother; Taylor Whitehead of Lexington, Ky., one sister; Fannie Roberts of Hyden, Ky., seventeen treasured grandchildren, twenty three treasured, great -grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
TIME AND PLACE OF SERVICE: GRAVESIDE SERVICE - 3:00 p.m. - Friday - February 5, 2021 at the Mosley Cemetery, Mozelle, Ky.
