Beldon Asher

Mr. Beldon Asher, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. He was 85 years old. Beldon was born May 25, 1938  at Essie, Kentucky the son of the late, Hobart Asher and Sophia Collett Asher. Beldon had been a resident of Leslie County since 1979. He had also lived in Chicago, Ill. Beldon was a veteran of the U.S. Army. By occupation he was a Plant Manager for Sandee Manufacturing Plastic Co. Beldon enjoyed gun collecting, raising chickens and being outdoors. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Beldon was preceded in death by his beloved parents, loving companion, Eyvone Hoskins, one special brother, Charles Edward Asher and one special sister, Lucy Asher. He leaves the following relatives surviving; three cherished sons, Jeffrey Asher, Central City, KY, Joseph Asher, Long Beach, CA and John Hoskins, Warbranch, KY, one cherished daughter, Lisa Asher, Geneva, Ill, two special brothers, Waldon Asher, Warbranch, KY, and Willis Asher, Asher, KY, one special sister, Nancy Asher, Asher, KY and one treasured grandson, Michael Grannan. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Service: Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY

Minister: Rev. Ralph Brown

Visitation: Sat. July 8th at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel

Committal Service will be Monday, July 10, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kentucky Veteran's Cemetery South East, Hyden, KY

*Mililtary Rites will be performed by the Leslie County DAV Chapter #133*
