Beulah Morgan

Mrs. Beulah Morgan  of East Bernstadt, formerly of Leslie County passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at the St. Joseph of London, London, Kentucky at the age of 95 years old.  She was born at Livingston, TN on August 5, 1927 the daughter of the late Willie Newton Dailey and the late Ermine Claiburne.  Beulah was a retired owner and manager of  Morgan's Restaurant & Shell Station, Hyden, KY. alongside her husband, Omus Morgan. She was also the former manager of the Town House Motel located in Hazard, KY. She enjoyed talking on the phone to family and friends, was an avid U.K. fan, some of her hobbies included flower gardening and sewing. Beulah especially enjoyed spending time with her family members. She was a member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God and also at East Bernstadt Church of God, and was passionate about her church work. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, her loving and devoted husband: Omus Morgan, one son: Charles Ray Collins, grandson: Donald Wayne Morgan, son-in-law: Harold Roberts,  brothers, Herman Dailey, Elmer Dailey, sisters, Delma, Thelma & Mary. She leaves surviving the following relatives, two devoted sons: Wayne Morgan & (Tommie Jean) of Hazard, KY, Willie Garrett Morgan & (Rozella) of East Bernstadt, KY, two loving daughters: Joyce Bernice Roberts of East Bernstadt, KY, Reba Bowling & (Mickey) of Richmond, KY, six cherished brothers: Roy "Oogie" Dailey of Livingston, TN, Howard Dailey of Livingston, TN, Robert "Bob" Dailey of Indianapolis, IN, Willie Dailey of Columbia, KY, Donald Dailey of Columbia, KY and Clifton Dailey of Indiana. Beulah is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Melissa Morgan, Chrystal Shepherd & (Lee), Stephanie Morgan, Bobby Collins & (Chasity), April Collins, Archie Collins & (Teri), Gary Morgan & (Lorna), Michael Bowling, Billy D. Adams & (Sandy), Tina Stewart & (Dave) also survived by 12 great grandchildren and a host of other treasured relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M. - Saturday, August 13, 2022, at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home at Hyden, KY.

VISITATION: 11:00 A.M. - Saturday, August 13, 2022 until funeral hour at the funeral home chapel.

OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Mickey Bowling  and Stan Rutland.

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Garrett Morgan Cemetery at Hyden, KY.
