Mr. Billy Joe Osborne passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the Well's Hospice Center. He was 67 years old. Billy Joe was born June 19, 1955 in Hyden, Kentucky the son of the late, Shelvie Osborne and Georgia Jones Osborne. Billy Joe had been a resident of Grand Rapid Michigan with the exception of living in Leslie County for the past 15 years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. By occupation he was a self-employed construction worker. Billy Joe was affiliated with the Panco Community Church. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying drones, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

Billy Joe was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Shelvie and Georgia Jones Osborne, brothers, R.B. Osborne & Merle Osborne and sister, Jocelyn Osborne Elam. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving and devoted wife, Wendy Belcher Osborne, Sizerock, KY, cherished son, B. Robert Osborne & Stacy, Tampa, Fl, cherished daughter, Shilo Christensen, MI, brothers, Delbert W. Osborne & Karen, OH and Roger D. Osborne, Sizerock, KY, sister, Zona M. Osborne Turner & Robert, Hyden, KY and treasured granddaughter, Addison Marie Osborne. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, October 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Minister: Jerry Rice & Pastor Joey Burns

Interment: Woods Cemetery, Hyden, KY.

*Full Military Rites observed by the Leslie Co. DAV Chapter #133*
