Bobby Johnson

Bobby Johnson of Hyden, KY. passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the age of 54. Bobby was born July 21, 1965 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Earl Johnson & Gladys Roberts Johnson. Bobby had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was affliated with the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. Bobby was a avid UK sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal grandparents, John & Elizabeth Roberts, paternal grandparents, Claude & Rhoda Johnson, a sister, Grace Johnson, 2 nephews, Brian Lunceford & Jody Johnson & 1 niece, Stacy Lunceford. He is survived by a brother, Earl Wayne Johnson & wife, Carolyn of Hyden, KY., 4 sisters, Dorothy Brewer of Salem, IN., Florence McKnight & Jack of Salem, IN., Drucilla Campbell of Walton, KY.  & Mary Elizabeth Lunceford of Lee Co., KY., 5 nieces & 6 nephews & a special aunt, Drucilla Howard of Hyden, KY. Also a host of cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Officiating Minister: Rev. Geoffery Roberts

Interment: Bray Cemetery, (Muncy Creek Road), Stinnett, KY.

Pallbearers: Kevin Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Michael Johnson, Darin Brewer, Ian Campbell, Tony Turner, Brian Brandenburg, Carl Bruce Jones & Howard Eugene Johnson
