Bonnell Bentley

Mr. Bonnell Bentley was born September 4, 1936 in Hyden, Kentucky, the son of the late Bige Bentley and the late Sophia Morgan Bentley. Bonnell passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was 87 years old. Bonnell was a life long resident of Leslie County. By occupation he was owner & operator of Bentley's garage & wrecker service. Bonnell served as Magistrate for 4 terms in District #3 for the Leslie County Fiscal Court. Bonnell was affiliated with the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax Kentucky. Bonnell enjoyed supporting and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching UK sports and loved politics; national & local, watching religious programs on tv, and fishing on his pontoon.
Bonnell was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Bige and Sophia Morgan Bentley, one cherished son, Bobby Dean Bentley, special brothers, Bige Jr., Wiley "Fox" and Woodrow Bentley & special sisters, Lucille Doyle and Marie Bray. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving and devoted wife of 68 plus years, Mrs. Elva Maggard Bentley, Wooton, KY, cherished sons, Thomas Bubnick and Sandra, Somerset, KY and Frank Bubnick and Ida, Dayton, Ohio, cherished daughters, Donna Napier and Roy, Hyden, KY and Judy Morgan and Christopher, Wendover, KY, treasured grandchildren, Shelley Watts and Jason, Tony Bubnick and Anne, Duran Bubnick and Lindsay & Teana Nicol & Frasier, treasured great grandchildren, Tori Watts, Cassie Watts, Kaden Watts, Jayleigh Watts, Shelby Bubnick, Jacob Bubnick, Grant Bubnick, Rhys Bubnick & Vanessa Golan & Robert and treasured great-great-grandchildren, Russell Golan and Roman Golan. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.
