Brenda Joyce Coots

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Coots passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Well's Hospice Center, Hazard, Ky at the age of 72. She was born at Cutshin, KY on May 18, 1950 the daughter of the late Geneva Baker and the late Jay Clark. Brenda was a dedicated employee of the food industry and had worked at White Castle for 42 years. She made East Gate, Ohio  her home for the majority of her adult life and had moved back the Leslie County in the last 2 1/2 years. Brenda loved working in her yard, going to flea markets and taking care of her pets. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family members. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, step mother: Magdalene Clark, step sisters: Christine Clark & Wanda Faye Clark. She leaves surviving the following relatives: her loving son: Jeff Coots and Dorsie of Yeaddiss, KY. five brothers: J.J. Clark of Yeaddiss, KY, Danny Clark and Jimmy Clark both of Ohio, Buddy Baker and Bobby Baker both of Ohio, two sisters Sandra Pennington of Yeaddiss, KY and Ruby Clark of Somerset, KY, two grandchildren Zoey Coots and Jewlee Coots and her boyfriend, Travis Deaton, six step grandchildren: R. J. Cornett, Rebecca Cornett, Brooke Clark, Travis Deaton, Emilynn Clark & Sally Lewis. Brenda is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
