Calvin Hollen

Mr. Calvin Hollen, 63 of Bear Branch passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at St. Joseph of London, KY. Calvin was born April 19, 1958 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Carlo Hollen and Arey Crawford Hollen. Calvin had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was a volunteer fireman & enjoyed spending time with his family. 

Calvin was preceded in death by his beloved parents, brothers, Carlo & Shilo Hollen & sisters, Hazel Wagers, Allie Wagers, Ollie Coyle, Cledith Riley and Virginia (Jean) Couch. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving & devoted wife, Kathy Eversole Hollen, Bear Branch, KY., one beloved son, Calvin Hollen, Jr., Bear Branch, KY., brothers, James Hollen & Faye, Walton, KY., Roy Hollen & Sharon, Norris Lake, TN. John Ed Hollen & Lena, Bear Branch, KY., Cecil Wayne Hollen & Wilma Jean, Manchester, KY., Forester Allen Hollen & Dianna, London, KY. and Alvin Hollen, London, KY., adopted brother, John Hollen, Big Creek, KY., sisters, Carolyn Sue Melton & Ed, Big Creek, KY. and Essie Bowman & Jr., Big Creek, KY., adopted sister, Eunice, Hamilton, OH. and niece, Whitney Bowling who Calvin raised as his own daughter.

Graveside service will be Friday, October 8, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hollen Family Cemetery, Bear Branch, KY.
