On April 04, 2025, at 2:45am, Carlos passed peacefully surrounded by his wife, sister, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and stepdaughter at Baylor Scott & White Health ER in Waxahachie Texas. Carlos was 61 years and 6 days old. Carlos was a member of Hurts Creek Church of Christ.

Carlos was born on March 29, 1964, in Leslie County, Kentucky, to Garett Lewis and the late Polly Marie Lowe Lewis. Carlos attended Leslie County High School in Hyden Ky. Later attending Hazard Community College. Carlos worked at LCHS in the boiler room, and he later worked for the Leslie County Fire Department for a brief time. Carlos moved to Hamilton Ohio and enlisted in the United States Army where he served honorably. Carlos later joined the Army Reserves and transitioned to a civilian life. Carlos also worked at Banner Buick in Ohio, American Woodmark and General Motors in Arlington, Texas.

Carlos enjoyed fishing and hunting with his dad and family. Carlos loved music and often played guitars with his dad Garett, and cousins. Carlos also enjoyed riding four-wheelers with his family and friends in the mountains of Kentucky. Carlos loved building and designing things. He designed and made two of his guitars in his collections. Carlos was selfless in caring for friends and family. In 2001 he moved to Oklahoma where he took care of his sister, Georgia and Niece, Christina following his sister's surgery to remove a brain tumor.

Carlos, was an extraordinary person who touched the lives of everyone around him, including our family, friends, and even strangers he met along the way. His kindness, generosity, and love for others were truly inspiring, always tinkering with a new project. Carlos was a member of the United Auto Workers and Disabled American Veterans. Carlos was a beloved Son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Carlos is survived by his beloved wife, Feyfayette Ewing-Lewis, Waxahachie, Texas and Daughter Lindsey Victoria Joseph-Schulte and Aaron Joseph Schulte, Hamilton Ohio. Daughter Arielle Lewis and Gavin Schmidt of Bowling Green Ohio. Son, Damian Alexander Lewis, Bowling Green Ohio. Two Grandchildren, Harper Wren Joseph-Schulte of Hamilton Ohio, and Enzo Schmidt of Bowling Green Ohio. Stepdaughter Dominique Deleon of Dallas Texas. One sister, Georgia Morgan-Pyron and Thomas Pyron of Grand Prairie, Texas and A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends, and Family Members.

Carlos was preceded in death by his mother, Polly M. Lowe Lewis of Hyden Ky. Two Sisters Charlene Lewis of Hyden Ky, and Deborah Ann Lewis Patrick of Hyden Ky, and brother, Roger Lewis, of Cynthiana, Kentucky.
