Carolyn Jeanette Tessner

Carolyn Jeanette Tessner passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was 75 years old. Carolyn was born, January 5, 1946 in Hazard, KY., the daughter of the late, Troy Halcomb & Arleana Holbrook Halcomb. Carolyn had been a life-long resident of Perry County, KY. She was a loving homemaker. Carolyn was a member of the First Baptist Church at Big Leatherwood, KY. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, music and loved spending time with her family.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving and devoted husband, Jack, brothers, Dewey and Harlan and sister, Ganell. She leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved sons, Jack Tessner & Regina, Wooton, KY. and Troy Tessner, Delphia, KY., beloved daughters, Shirley Gilbert & Shannon, Yeaddiss, KY. and Canatha Tessner, Hazard, KY., brother, Julius Halcomb, Delphia, KY., sisters, Marie Cress, Delphia, KY. and Margaret Clark, Indiana and treasured grandchildren, Kelley Morgan, Austin North, Jacob Tessner and Gabrielle Tessner. Also a host of other relatives and friends survive. 

Funeral: Friday, August 20, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church, Big Leatherwood, KY.

Minister: Eddie Williams

Interment: Stoney Fork Cemetery, Big Leatherwood, KY.

Visitation: Friday, August 20, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the the Church
