Cecil Brock

Cecil Brock was born on February 28, 1943, in Leslie County, Kentucky, the son of the late Charlie and Paralee Brock.  He was united in marriage to Jean Jones Brock, who survives of London.  He is also survived by two children, Roger Dale and Tammy Lynn Brock, both of London, two sisters, Amanda Ruff and husband, Terry, of Washington, and Drenda Vijuk of Amelia Island, Florida, two grandchildren, Samantha Belcher and Timothy Brock, both of London, and one great-grandchild, Kayden Belcher, plus a host of other friends and relatives to mourn his passing.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister, Lucy Asher.

He was a coal miner and heavy equipment operator.

Cecil Brock departed this life at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2019, being 75 years, 10 months and 27 days of age.

Funeral services for Cecil Brock will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Fields, Anthony Hinkle and Felix Brock officiating.  Burial will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery at Warbranch, Kentucky.

The family of Cecil Brock will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 11 AM Sunday until the funeral hour of 2 PM.
