Charlene Griffith

Charlene Giffith passed away at the UK Medical Center on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She was 79 years old. Charlene was born May 5, 1941 the daughter of the late, Earl Pennington & Ruth Belew Pennington. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Charlene enjoyed cooking, reading, her flowers & her cats & especially loved spending time with her family.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Mathias Griffith & one beloved son, Gary Griffith. She leaves the following relatives surviving; three beloved sons, Jeff Griffith, Wooton, KY, Gary Griffith, Georgia & Mathias Griffith, Jr. "Matt", Georgia, two brothers, Johnny Pennington, Ohio & Richard Pennington, Hazard, KY., two sisters, Barbara Pennington, Winchester, KY. & Lanessa Baker, Wooton, KY., a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren & a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date
