Rev. Charles Edward Collins

Rev. Charles Edward Collins passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at his residence at Thousandsticks, KY. He was 69 years of age. Charles was born August 29, 1952 in Hyden, KY.,  the son of the late, Edward Collins, Jr. and Ruthean Stacy Collins. He had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Charles was a former coal miner. He was the Pastor of the Davidson Fork Church of God at Thousandsticks, KY. Charles was a hunting instructor for 31 years, special deputy for 31 years & friends of Red Bird game reserve.

Charles is preceded in death by his beloved parents, special sister, Janie Shepherd, special brothers, Rodney Collins & James C. Collins and treasured grandchildren, Trevor Collins, James Michael Collins & Courtney Collins. He leaves the following relatives surviving; loving and devoted wife, Shirley Davidson Collins, Thousandsticks, KY., cherished sons, Tracy Collins, Nancy, KY. and Michael Collins & wife, Angie, Nancy, KY., special brother, Stevie Collins, Hyden, KY., special sisters, Dorothy Ann Collins Davidson, Thousandsticks, KY. and Rita Collins Campbell & husband, Rodney, Yerkes, KY., treasured grandchildren, Lacy Tooley & Alex, Tia Collins & Brandon and Brittany Collins and treasured great grandchildren, Brinlee Tooley, Keltie Tooley, Ares Crew, Jayde Johnson & Kyleigh Johnson.  Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Monday, April 18, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at the Davidson Fork Church of God, Thousandsticks, KY.

Ministers: Randy Woods, Paul Mitchell, Eugene "Friday" Roberts, Robert Lee Hacker & Tony Couch

Interment: Trevor Collins Family Cemetery, 6695 Cave Springs, Nancy, KY.

Visitation: Friday, April 15, 2022 at 6:00 P.M., Saturday, April 16, 2022 and Sunday, April 17, 2022 at the Davidson Fork Church of God
