Clayton Bowling age 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Clayton was born February 20, 1940 to the late Roy Bowling and Mallie Hensley Bowling in Hyden, Kentucky.
He was a member of Campground Baptist Church and loved to fish, hunt, play guitar, wood working and cherished his family.
Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mallie Bowling; brothers, Ed, Elmer, Arthur Bowling; sisters, Gladys Bowling, Helen Vanover, Grace Pennington, Rose Bowling.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 55 years, Pat Bowling; son, Bill Bowling (Anissa) of Somerset; brothers, Cliff and Don Bowling; sisters, Lois Adams and Doris Johnson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Rick Watson officiating, burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
