David Hoskins, Jr., affectionately known as Jr., passed away on January 25, 2025, at his residence in Stinnett, Kentucky. He was 57 years old. He was born on July 16, 1967, in Beverly, Kentucky, and lived a life full of passion and adventure.

Jr. was a man deeply connected to the outdoors. He loved spending time in the mountains, where he often found peace and joy. His interests included ginsenging, a pursuit that allowed him to appreciate the natural beauty of his surroundings, as well as making knives, a skill that showcased his craftsmanship and dedication.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Candace Brooke Hoskins, and his sons, Dalton David Hoskins and Dean Dakota Hoskins. Jr. cherished his family, and his siblings were an integral part of his life; he is remembered fondly by his brothers, James Morgan & wife, Sandra and Larry Morgan, along with his sisters, Kathy Huff & husband Joel, Jeannie Morgan, and Denene Hoskins & Elmer. Together, they mourn the loss of a remarkable brother and uncle, who also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jr. was preceded in death by his parents, David Hoskins and Bernadine Begley Hoskins, who were significant figures in his life, shaping the man he became. Their legacy lives on through their children and the love they shared.

The memory of David Hoskins, Jr. will endure through the lives he touched and the stories that will be told in his honor. He leaves behind a rich tapestry of experiences, love for his family, and a spirit that embraced the beauty of life.

Funeral: Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Gap Church of God, Stinnett, Kentucky

Interment: Bray Cemetery, (Muncy Creek Road) Stinnett, Kentucky

Visitation: Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Church
