Delbert "Curly" William Whitehead

Delbert William "Curly" Whitehead born November 10, 1963 at Asher, KY. the son of Dillis Whitehead and the late, Cornia Louise Williams Whitehead. He passed away Monday, October 7, 2019 at the age of 55. Delbert had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Curly was currently employed by the City of Hyden, he had worked there for 31 years. He was affliated with the Mozelle Church of God at Asher, KY. Curly enjoyed his work, raising animals (especially his chickens), riding 4-wheelers, any outdoor activity & spending time with his family.

Delbert was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Cornia Louise Williams Whitehead. He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving & devoted father, Dillis Whitehead of Asher, KY., step-son, Kenny Ray Purvis of Asher, KY., brothers, Dillis Wayne Whitehead(Patricia) of Manchester, KY. & Benny Whitehead(fiance', Christine) of London, KY., sisters, Geneva Ray(Leon) of London, KY. & Louise Whitehead(fiance', Nathan Begley) of London, KY., 2 nephews & 9 nieces, a host of great nephews & nieces & best friend, Dale Roberts. Also a host of cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Friday, October 11, 2019 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY.

Minister: Rev. Shane McQueen & Reading the Obituary, Randall Combs

Interment: Hoskins Family Cemetery, Hoskinston, KY.

Pallbearers: Curtis Whitehead, Benji Whitehead, Donald Lee Hubbard, Ricky Hubbard, Jamie Hubbard & Randall Combs

Visitation: Thursday, October 10, 2019 @ 6:00 P.M. at the Church
