Doris Jean Holland

Doris Jean  Holland born November 30, 1947 departed this life on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Well's Hospice Center. She was 74 years old. Doris was born in Leslie Co., the daughter of the late Raymond Bowling & Mary Feltner Bowling. Doris was a retired manager of United Dairy Farmers, Dayton, Ohio.  She was a resident of Dayton, Ohio for many years, she moved back to Essie, Ky. in 1997.  Doris was affiliated with the Lower Bowens Creek United Methodist Church, Essie, Ky.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving and devoted husband, Eugene Holland, cherished son, Larry "Wayne" Holland and brothers Larry Bowling & Clyde Bowling. Mrs. Doris Jean Holland leaves the following relatives surviving: one beloved son, Jeffery Holland and Maxine of London, Ky.,  beloved daughter, Delone Taylor and Daniel of Essie, Ky. & three brothers, Danny Bowling and Patty of Indiana, Troy Bowling & Peggy of Hyden, Ky., Taylor Bowling and Trinia of Essie, Ky., five treasured grandchildren, Brittany McIntosh, Nathaniel Taylor, Courtney Taylor, Jeffery Holland, ten treasured great-grandchildren, & a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

TIME AND PLACE OF SERVICE: 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday - June 15, 2022 at the  Lower Bowens Creek United Methodist Church, Essie, Ky.
