Eddie Wayne Spurlock

Eddie Wayne Spurlock passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the age of 46. Eddie was born on Nov. 7, 1972 in Hyden, KY the son of Thomas Edward Spurlock and the late Judy Gail Couch.  He was a former coal miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling and attending football games to watch his son play. Eddie was especially fond of spending time with his family. He was affiliated with the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church and the Couch's Fork Church of God.  Eddie was preceded in death by his mother Judy Gail, Paternal Grandparents: Verlion & Hazel Davidson and his maternal grandparents: Maultie & Holt Couch. He leaves surviving the following relatives: Father Eddie  & Brenda Spurlock of Bear Branch, KY, wife: Edith Angela Roark, son: Dalton Edward Spurlock and step-son Dillion Muncy both of Hyden, KY, mother of sons: Linda Hensley (David) step-son: Matthew Onzie Brook Sizemore, step-daughter Paige Sizemore, brother: Pearl Wayne Spurlock of Bear Branch, Ky, sister: Christina Spurlock, nephews Tanner Spurlock, (Kelsey), Preston Spurlock, Trevor Gibson, Rhyder Stamper, one great nephew to be born: Tucker, aunt: Tina Stamper (Scott).  Eddie is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. - Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church at Hyden, KY

VISITATION: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 at the church.

OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Rev. Teddy Couch, Rev. Kevin Napier, and Pastor Wayne Bowling.

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Morgan-Begley Cemetery at Hyden, KY
