Ernest Finley born July 23, 1927 departed this life on Wed. November 23, 2022 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. being 95 years old. Ernest was born at Bear Branch, Ky., the son of the late George and Lillie Finley. Other than his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his loving & devoted wife, Marie Finley, three brothers, Charles, Paul and Carl Finley, two sisters, Beulah Finley Mosley and Gracie Finley Horton. Ernest loved his dog dearly.

Ernest leaves the following relatives surviving; one brother, James Finley, Tampa, FL, niece, Sandy Napier & husband, Joe, Hyden, KY. and nephew, Paul David Finley, London, KY. A host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral service for Ernest Finley will be conducted Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Logan Wayne Bowling officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens located in Hazard, KY. Visitation will be on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral at the Funeral Home.
