The obituary of Mrs. Ethel Jean Howard
Mrs. Ethel Jean Howard, 57, wife of Bert Howard departed this life on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Thomas, Ky. Ethel Howard was born on January 14, 1962 the daughter of the late Mitchell Brock and the late Martha Muncy Brock. By occupation she was a homemaker and had also worked for the Leslie County School Board as a Teachers Aide and Bus Monitor for Stinnett Elemetary. Ethel Jean was a member of the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. Some of her hobbies included facebook, playing candy crush, watching soap operas, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and other family members. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Brittany Martha Howard, sister: Della Mae Brock, infant sister, nephew: Rodney Bailey and niece: Janet Sparks. She leaves surviving the following relatives her loving and devoted husband of 43 years: Bert Howard of Thousandsticks, Ky, two loving daughters: Chassity Dawn Howard of Thousandsticks, KY, Chloe Michelle Combs (Robert) of Thousandsticks, Ky, brothers: Bruce Brock (Lorna) of Michigan, Michael Brock (Shantiel) of Hyden, KY, sisters: Bertha Bailey of TN, Phoebe Caldwell (Hollis) of Helton, KY, Mary Sue Brock Lewis (Eddie) of Bledsoe, KY, Sharon Brock ( McKinley) of Helton, KY, four grandchildren: Dylan Bert Adams, James Mitchell Adams, Dennis Ryan Tyler Combs and Aysha Mattea Muncy. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 at the Thousandsticks United Methodist Church at Thousandsticks, KY.
VISITATION: 1:00 p.m. - Tuesday- Dec. 10, 2019 at the church.
OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Rev. Robert Amundsen and Rev. Larry Stubblefield
PLACE OF INTERMENT: Smith Cemetery at Stinnett, KY
PALLBEARERS: Steven Howard, Robert Combs, Ryan Combs and James Adams
