Fannie Katherine Collette

Mrs. Fannie Katherine Collette born June 2, 1937 at Asher, Kentucky, the daughter of the late, Alex Brock and the late, Lily Ethel Hall. Fannie passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at her residence in Corbin, Kentucky. Fannie was 85 years old. She had been a resident of Corbin for the past 38 years. She was a loving homemaker. Fannie was a member of the Little Community Church & Freewill Church of God in Corbin, KY. Fannie enjoyed cooking, quilting, spending time with her family & above all was a great prayer warrior.

Fannie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Walter Collette, cherished son, Ernest Collette, infant brother, Theo and brother, Jimmy Brock. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 3 cherished sons, Johnny Collette & Vicky, Corbin, KY, Jackie Collette & Bonnie, Corbin, KY and James David Collette & Phyllis, Corbin, KY, four brothers, Walter D. Brock & Renee, Williamsburg, KY, George Brock, Corbin, KY, Alex Jr. Brock & Kathy, Corbin, KY. and Felix Brock, Corbin, KY, three sisters, Carolyn Sue Brock, Corbin, KY., Shelby Jean Nolan & A.D., London, KY. and Linda May Morgan & Ralph, Corbin, KY, 8 treasured grandchildren. Keisha Brooks, Jessica Collette, John Thomas, Angela Collette, Ashley Atkins, Ashley, Christina Davis, David Shane Collette & Montana Collette,  host of treasured great grandchildren  & 3 treasured great great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Services:

Funeral: Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 2:30 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts & Rev. Ralph Brown

Interment: Brock Family Cemetery, Mozelle, KY.

Pallbearers: Sam Brown, George Neal, John Thomas, Montana Collette, Hayden Frechette, Jesse Moore, & George Neal  

Visitation: Sunday, April 23rd at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel
