Fred Jones Jr.

Fred Jones Jr., age 64 passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024. He was born on January 19, 1959, to Fred and Nannie (Begley) Jones.

Fred was a graduate of Lakota High School, West Chester, Ohio and United Electronics Institute, Louisville, Kentucky. He worked at Armor Elevator Company, Louisville, Kentucky.

Surviving are his sisters, Lois Jones, Irene Mitchell, brother, Boyd Jones wife Janice; five nieces, Karen, Sandra, Renee, Amy, and Kristy; three nephews, Stephen, Ryan, and Chris; great-nieces and great-nephews, Brandon, Nick, Austin, Luke, Bryanna, Matt, Laney, Fletcher, and great-great nephew Joshua.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dean, sister Helen and sister-in-law Cornelia.

He will be remembered for always making his family laugh with his witty sense of humor and telling great stories. He spent years being a wonderful caretaker to his parents and sisters. He will be missed dearly by his entire family.

Funeral: Friday, January 26, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY

Interment: Begley Cemetery, Confluence, KY.
