George Anthony Bailey, a cherished son, devoted father, loving brother & beloved friend  passed away on November 4, 2024, in his hometown of Hyden, Kentucky. Born on June 8, 1993, George was known for his unwavering spirit and strong connection to his community.

George enjoyed an array of hobbies, with a special passion for fishing, dirt track racing, racing horses, and NASCAR. His enthusiasm for these activities reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors.

George is survived by his, father, Anthony Bailey & Savannah, and his stepfather, Leon Adams. He was also the proud father of Bentley and Maddox Bailey & Everleigh Truitt who brought immense joy to his life. George’s family extended to include his brothers Kevin Bailey, along with Leeanna Jones, Michael Bailey, and Willis Adams & Cora, alongside their families. His sisters, Bethany Campbell and her partner Justin, Contessa Cawood and her partner Mark, Brandy Osborne and her partner Jeff, Madison Benton & Oaklynn Bailey.

Additionally, George leaves behind many relatives who remember him fondly, including his aunt Patricia Eversole, uncle George Bailey and his spouse Jennifer, cousin James Bailey & special nieces & nephews, Bella Boggs, Karalina Campbell, Jordyn Campbell, Scarlett Campbell, Alyssa Bailey Meadows, Kenzie Adams, Andrew Boggs & Starla, Dalton Boggs, Riley Boggs, Matthew Boggs, Waylon Campbell, Lincoln Campbell, Tinsley Campbell, Austin Bailey, Andrew Bailey, Brantley Adams, Emmitt Adams, Dylan Adams & Breanna, Cameron Adams & Kaylee, Bryant Cawood, Cooper Cawood, Chase Adams & McKayla, great niece, Brielle Adams and great nephews, Kane Stollings & Brennon Riley.  He also shared meaningful relationships with his many friends, including Justin Adams, Morgan Farmer, Ricky Turner, Lance Farler and his partner Amanda, as well as Randeana France.

George’s legacy is marked by the love he gave to his family and friends, the joy he found in his passions, and the memories that will forever be cherished by those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa Day, grandparents, Ruby Ann Vernon & Paul Day, and grandparents Andrew Bailey and Martha Simpson, Bailey as well as step-grandfather Johnny Adams and cousin Jazmin Sizemore. Their memories live on in the stories shared by those who remain.

George Anthony Bailey’s life was a testament to the bonds of family and friendship, and he will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit and loving nature.

Interment: Day Family Cemetery, Wooton, KY

Visitation: Sunday, November 10th at 5:00 P.M. at the McIntosh Church of God, Wooton, KY
