Family gatherings were filled with love and much laughter as George joked, teased and sang his favorite songs out loud, creating lasting memories with those he was closest to.

George was born to Farmer and Maude Osborne Couch in Leslie Co., KY. whose values and kindness had a profound effect on his life and career. He shared a deep bond with his sisters, Joyce, Alta, Florence and Rose and his brothers, Hargis, Doyle and Raleigh throughout their lives.
