THE OBITUARY OF MR. GEORGE CLAY MOSLEY

      Mr. George Clay Mosley of Asher, Ky., departed this life on Thursday, October 07, 2021 at his residence.  He was 83 years old. George Clay was born November 8, 1937 at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Kelly Mosley and Ora Wilson Mosley.  George Clay received his BA from Eastern Kentucky University.  He had a very distinguished business career.  He was a retired owner and operator of his own coal & long haul trucking company. George Clay was a devoted member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, Harlan, Ky.  He enjoyed squirrel hunting & fishing; however his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.  George Clay & Joyce had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 47 years, having moved back from Ohio.  Mr. George Clay Mosley was preceded in death by his parents; one cherished son, Clyde Mosley; brother, Bruce Mosley & sister Lillian Burgess.  Mr. George Clay Mosley leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife, Joyce Hoskins Mosley of Asher, Ky.; two beloved sons, Terry Mosley and Judy of London, Ky.; George Clay Mosley, Jr. of Asher, Ky.; one beloved daughter, Cathy Hubbard of Asher, Ky.; 13 treasured grandchildren, 12 treasured great grandchildren, one great, great, grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.  You may offer your condolences to the family @www.dwaynewalkerfuneralhome.com
