She leaves the following relatives surviving; husband, Torreon "Shorty" Tackett, St. Cloud, FL., son; Jeff Asher, Crossville, TN., daughter; Kim Asher Beekman (Willard), St. Cloud, FL., daughter-in-law, Karma Tackett, St. Cloud, FL., brother, Richard "Dickie" Melton & Thelma, Hyden, KY. Preceded in death by, parents, Carl & Marie Melton, Hyden, KY., daughter, Eugenia "Genia" Asher, St. Cloud, FL., son, Alna Carl "AC" Tackett, St. Cloud, FL., brother, Robert "Bobby" Melton, Hyden, KY., sister, Glenna & brother in law, Don Mosley, Vandalia, OH.

Organizations; member First Baptist Church, St. Cloud, FL. (49 plus yrs) Sunday School Teacher of Joy Sunday School class 29 plus years, Chapter "L" P.E.O. Sisterhood St. Cloud. Original member of start up of St. Cloud Community Food Pantry. Taught Elementary grades 33 plus years, in Ky., OH., MS. & FL.
