Hilda Smith Brock

Hilda Smith Brock was born, October 4, 1949 at Stinnett, Kentucky. Hilda is the daughter of the late, Roy Smith and Rose Collett Smith. Hilda passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Kentucky. She was 74 years old. Hilda had been a resident of Leslie County for 30 years. She had previously lived in Louisville, Kentucky. By occupation Hilda had worked at GE in Louisville for several years before moving back to Stinnett where she worked as a head start teachers aide at Stinnett Elementary at Stinnett, Kentucky. Hilda was a devoted member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Stinnett, Kentucky. She & her husband Terry were Youth Leaders at the Church for several years. Hilda enjoyed working with kids, cooking for the sick & elderly & especially loved spending time with her family.

Hilda is preceded in death by her beloved parents, 1st loving & devoted husband, Harold Farmer & 2nd loving & devoted husband, William Terry Brock, sister, Kathleen Smith and brothers, Orphas Smith & Lonnie Wayne Smith. She leaves the following relatives surviving; brother, Roy Smith, Jr. & Sandy of Macon Georgia, sisters, Erma Wallace & Larry Hacker of Stinnett, KY and Lucille Smith Caldwell of Shepherdsville, KY, brother in law, Tim Brock & Donna, of London, KY. and treasured nieces & nephews, Vanessa Haycraft & David, Anthony Smith & Tonya, Allen Asher & Kim, Missy Vidito & Mike, Lucia Davis, Roy David Collett and Candace Smith. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation: Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Stinnett, KY.

Funeral: Wednesday, January 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church Stinnett, KY.

Interment: Smith Family Cemetery, Stinnett, KY.
