Hiram Osborne

Hiram Osborne, age 76, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY.  He was born June 7, 1947, the son of the late Julie Salyers Osborne & Dee Osborne.  He was a life-long resident of Leslie County and a member of the Holiness faith.  Hiram enjoyed reading his bible, watching and feeding squirrels, whittling and he loved spending time with his family.

Hiram was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, whom he married on March 6, 1970, Patty Osborne; cherished daughter, Sandy Washburn; brothers, Buster Osborne, Will Osborne, J.L. Osborne, Otis Osborne, Cliff Osborne & Bob Osborne and sisters, Mollie Jane Gay and Fannie Asher.

Hiram is survived by his loving daughter, Adina Osborne of Thousandsticks, KY.; 3 special grandchildren, Jasmine Phillips, Darrell Smith & wife Hannah and Cody Smith & wife Ashley; 4 special great-grandchildren, Hayden, Braylen, Paisley & Peyton.  Hiram was also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.

Funeral: Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hals Fork Pentecostal Church in Bear Branch, KY

Visitation: Monday, December 4, 2023 at 6:00PM at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, KY

Interment: Gillie Osborne Cemetery - Thousandsticks, KY
