Irene North Adams

Irene North Adams passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, KY. She was 73 years old. Irene was born Oct. 1, 1947 in Leslie County, KY., the daughter of the late, Burley North & Melda Causey North. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation Irene had worked for Pennington Tire & Hyden Health & Rehab Center. She was a member of the Solid Rock Bible Chapel at Wooton, KY. Irene enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, canning, assisting with cattle & spending time with her family especially her grandson, Tyler & great grandson, Braidyn.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, loving & devoted husband, Carlos Adams. her high-school sweetheart, to whom she was married for 50 years,  sister, Elvene & brother, Bobby. She leaves the following relatives surviving; 2 beloved daughters, Sherry Morgan & Thurman Davidson, Thousandsticks, KY. & Tena Adams & Anthony, Lexington, KY., 1 sister, Eula Mae North, Thousandsticks, KY., 1 treasured grandson, Tyler Morgan & Kaitlyn Bowling, 1 treasured great grandson, Braidyn Morgan & a special friend, Jeff Morgan. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.

Ministers: Doug Adams & Troy Adams

Interment: Adams Cemetery, (Leeco Road), Wooton, KY.

Pallbearers: Jeff Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Troy Adams, Ethan Adams, Anthony Adams & Nick Adams

Visitation: Monday, February 22, 2021 at 12:00 Noon until time of funeral at the funeral home chapel
