Irene Hoskins Collett

Mrs. Irene Hoskins Collett passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021. She was 84 years old. Irene was born May 23, 1937 at Stinnett, KY., the daughter of the late, Charlie Hoskins & Nancy Roberts Hoskins. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Irene was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother & friend to all who knew her. She was a faithful & devoted member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. Irene enjoyed word search puzzles, fishing, gardening and especially loved spending time with her family.

Irene was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Charlie & Nancy Hoskins, loving & devoted husband, Eugene Collett, five cherished brothers, Homer, Clarence, Clemon, Eldon Jack and Vernon & five cherished sisters, Pearlie Witt, Carolyn Hacker, Celdren Stone, Delora Bowling & Evelyn Carpenter. She leaves the following relatives surviving; three beloved sons, Dwayne Collett & wife, Martha, Hyden, KY., Tommy Collett, Essie, KY. and Gary Collett & Karen, Essie, KY., two beloved daughters, Carol Sue Woods & Estill, London, KY. and Imogene Sizemore & Jeff, London, KY., three cherished brothers, Farmer Hoskins & Patsy, Somerset, KY., Silas Hoskins & Sharon, Fairborn, Ohio and Paul Hoskins & Brenda, Stinnett, KY., nine treasured grandchildren, Brandi Roberts & Scott, Tate Begley & Andrea, Marc Begley & Courtney, Keith Begley & Kim, Arnessa Craft & Jon, Adam Woods & Jessica, Jason Collett & Leslie, Chris Collett & Candi and Derek Collett & seventeen treasured great-grandchildren. Also a host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral: Monday, September 6, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY.
