Mrs. Annie Erma Fouts Day born April 17, 1941 in Leslie County, Kentucky the daughter of the late, Jim Fouts and Mavis Cornett Fouts. Erma passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the Well's Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Erma was 81 years old. Erma was a life long resident of Leslie County. Erma was a loving homemaker. Erma was a faithful member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, Kentucky. Erma enjoyed quilting, cooking, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Erma was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jim Fouts & Mavis Cornett Fouts, loving & devoted husband, Dexter Day, sisters, Hazel Clark, Rose Marie Adams, Margaret Bailey & Hosie Jean Fouts, brothers, Harold Dean, Johnny & Willie Fouts and special friend she considered a daughter, Geri Adams. She leaves the following relatives surviving; one cherished son, Harold Day & wife, Rhonda, Cincinnati, Ohio, one cherished daughter, Eva Day Huff & husband, Delano, Hyden, Kentucky, one sister, Evelyn Bowling & husband, Mike, Tyner, Kentucky, four treasured grandchildren, Sarah Havener & David, Steven Vickers & Beth, Melinda Warsawsky & Andrew and Tonya Farler & Freddy, & six treasured great grandchildren, Samuel Havener, Rebecca Havener, Hannah Havener, Liam Warsawsky, Katelyn Pugh & Peyton and Alex Farler. Also a host of treasured nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
